We built a client’s AEM website from the ground up – creating custom templates and components, driving content from the client’s API.
Overview
We were approached by Prosek Partners to provide technical development for Avantis Investors, a new company created by American Century Investments.
Rather than building on top of existing implementations or migrating from an older site, we had the rare opportunity to build an Adobe Experience Manager site from scratch.
Besides the standard static elements for a corporate website—which we accomplished by skinning AEM core components—the client required some dynamic components pulling information from proprietary APIs, mostly related to investment products (ETFs and Mutual Funds). For this, we created custom templates and components, with some basic configuration dialogs, and a rich end-user rendering using ReactJS.
Using the brilliant design specifications provided by Prosek, GenuineBee was responsible for the project’s technical implementation, in coordination with the client’s IT department.
