When working for an external client, we had the opportunity to integrate out internal time tracker platforms (moving from Toggl to Harvest) with their Workfront instance.We love using Workfront, but our client was keen on the functionality of other time trackers, so challenged us to find a way to integrate Workfront with other trackers (as we had done at Genuinebee) at scale, for their entire creative team of 150.We proposed the creation of a dedicated time tracking desktop/mobile application, bringing the best from other products, but directly updating Workfont’s hours, instead of requiring a specialized platform. This would reduce both costs (no license fees to pay) and admin.Unfortunately, the project didn’t move forward with that client, but the idea stuck with us, so we went ahead and decided to prototype what we’d envisioned.We’re currently analyzing potential business value to go ahead with the full build, so if you’re interested in a product of this sort, we’d love to hear from you.
